SAGAR MINORITY WELFARE SOCIETY has been registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961on 9th July 1998. It is one of the best non-government charitable trusts at South 24 Parganas.
Sagar Minority Welfare Society organization works in Madras Education, Islamic Education, Islamic Culture, Seminars, Camps, Acquisition, Establishment, Assistance, Management, and Maintenance of Orthodox Hostels and Management of Libraries, Charitable Clinics, etc. To help the minority community of the country we are always working. Other scans or schemes such as Night Schools, Adult Education Centers, Old Age Homes, Orphanage Kindergartens, Daycare Centers, and Short-Stay Homes, SMWS always do what is appropriate and other programs and performances under the socio-economic program. From time to time SMWS are at their disposal for the benefit of the public which is appropriate and necessary and will be qualified by the government.

The growing discernment arising out of the unfulfilled aspirations of the inhabitants of the Sagar Island area under South 24 Parganas District coupled with the multiplicity of nagging local problems has necessitated the formation of this organization named ” Sagar Minority Welfare Society”. The promoters of this organization are a group of youth having the philanthropic and magnanimous mindset, vivacity, energy, and dedication, and having a strong will to involve in community development activities for the benefit of mankind.

Sagar Minority Welfare Society is registered with the Any Other Societies under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is S/90737. The dist. and state of registration are South 24 Parganas and West Bengal. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2017/0157064. The date of registration is 04-07-2017. The FCRA Registration no. is 147110763. Income Tax Registration Under Section 12A & Section 80G is with Memo No. CIT(E)/10E/629/2016-17/S-0366/4090-92 and Memo No. CIT(E) / 10E/405/18-19/19-20/G-0151/2051-53.

To provide meaningful opportunities to the poor and disadvantaged, with particular emphasis on the empowerment of women and other vulnerable sections of the society so as to achieve a high level of sustained social and economic development.

Vision

Sagar Minority Welfare Society evil caste, creed, gender discrimination, illiteracy, weak health, poverty, and exploitation where man and women move ahead-in-hand and in perfect harmony will nature, so as to attain higher levels of human sense and camaraderie.

Our Objective

To acquire, establish, start, manage and maintain an aid-run school, colleges, libraries, hospitals for the benefit of the villagers.

To promote and encourage the possible advancement of socio-economic environment and scientific & technical education.

To encourage the art among villagers through collecting and preserving manuscripts, paintings, sculptures, etc.

To provide our help to the needy of all communities both in an urban and rural area.

To collect donations, subscriptions, and collections for rural socio-economic development activities.

To help the aged, sick, helpless, destitute, and indigent villagers of all communities, sired by the appropriate Executive Body.

To construct, maintain, impress, develop and alter any building, houses, or other works necessary or convenient.

To organize women of disadvantaged groups, especially of the unorganized sector, and help them to upgrade their standard of living through optimum use of their inherent skill and resources.

To take up welfare programs for distressed people and organize social work.

To strengthen grass-root capacities by building confidence, problem-solving capacities, resilience, and skills among local people.

To eradicate distinction on the basis of class, community, creed, or race by promoting unity, peace, love, and brotherhood amongst people of different communities and classes.
